History

Welcome to Studio Le Reve, a dance studio rooted in a rich legacy of excellence and passion in dance. Formerly known as Scott Academy of Dance, it was lovingly owned and directed by the esteemed Marguerite B. Fontenot for an impressive 50 years from 1973 to 2024. Having grown up dancing and teaching at Scott Academy, I have cherished every moment and memory formed within its walls. When I took over as the owner and director in 2024, I honored this incredible foundation by reimagining it as Studio Le Reve–continuing the tradition while ushering in a new era of creativity and inspiration. 

I am thrilled to share this journey with my wonderful family who have been my steadfast supporters and partners in this endeavor. My spouse, Paul, brings invaluable support and enthusiasm that infuses every studio event. Our children, Isaiah, Nessa, and Judah, are the heart and soul of our family. Their love for people and Jesus remind us daily why we do what we do. We look forward to welcoming you into our studio family and sharing the joy of dance together.
